Peter Kolozi, PhD
CUNY Bronx
Peter Kolozi is a Professor of Political Science at Bronx Community College (CUNY) in Bronx, New York, where he has been a faculty member since 2004 and serves as co-coordinator of the Political Science Option. He earned his PhD and MA in Political Science from the CUNY Graduate Center, and a B.A. in Political Science and History from William Paterson University.
His scholarly interests encompass American politics, conservatism, political economy, and social movements, with notable publications including Conservatives Against Capitalism (Columbia University Press, 2017) and the co-authored open educational resource textbook The Political Imagination: Introduction to American Government (CUNY Manifold, 2021). Kolozi teaches courses such as American National Government, Comparative Government, and Civil Rights in America, earning high praise from students for his engaging lectures. Peter is also actively involved in the Professional Staff Congress (PSC-CUNY), serving as a delegate and contributing to union initiatives.
James Freeman, Phd
NYU and Essex County College
James Freeman is an adjunct instructor at both NYU and Essex County College, where he teaches courses in Sociology, American Government and Politics.
