American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Statement
Academic Media Solutions makes every effort to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA, Section 504) that requires print or text-based materials used by students/individuals with documented disabilities, be made available in an alternate format. Today, alternatives usually consist of a digital copy of the material, either for direct use by the student or to create the appropriate end-user format (e.g., Braille, large print, audio).
For each of our titles, we offer an affordable option/format of our core textbooks ("Online eBook") and/or select student study aids designed for students covered under the ADA that includes that content in a PDF format (broken down by chapter) that are importable into software platforms used by students with a print disability to create the appropriate end-user format. These platforms are designed to convert required course materials into an accessible and unencrypted electronic format solely for the use of students covered under the ADA.
